When science transcends boundaries and imagination defies the stars, it’s time to unleash your most captivating tales. The Inkitt Sci-Fi Writing Contest 2026 invites you to craft stories set in awe-inspiring science fiction worlds—where alien civilizations, advanced technology, mysterious experiments, interstellar conflicts, and fantastical discoveries create the backdrop for unforgettable narratives.

🚀 We’re looking for science fiction stories that transport readers to distant galaxies, alternate dimensions, post-apocalyptic Earth, or futuristic societies where humanity encounters the unknown. Give us space exploration, first contact scenarios, time paradoxes, artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, parallel universes, monster encounters, or technological singularities—all with compelling characters and gripping plots.

🌌 Rogue AI systems, telepathic aliens, cyborg soldiers, interdimensional travel, secret research facilities, alien invasions, space stations on the edge of known space, colonization missions, virtual reality prisons, bioengineered creatures—if it explores the limitless possibilities of science and speculation, it belongs in this contest.
