Summary

Lilibeth is a 8 year old kid who has brought herself up. She had to learn quickly how to take care of herself and her addict mother. She didn't mind though as her mum was all she had in this world. Lilibeth's mother was 19 years old when she gave birth to her baby. She fell pregnant to a man she thought would love her if she got pregnant but he paid her to get rid of the child. She refused to incase Darren changed his mind but he never came looking. Lilibeth's mum was always abusive when she was coming down from her high of using. Lilibeth knew to avoid her mother during that time but one night her mother went to far snapping Lilibeth's arm resulting in her being rushed into surgery. When Lilibeth's mum sobered up she knew she couldn't keep harming her daughter and called child protection services to take Lilibeth so she could have a better life. Lilibeth's mum gave child protection services all the information about Darren hoping he would finally take an interest in his younger child but no longer caring where her daughter went as long as she was away and safe. Darren Staples lost his wife close to 10 years ago in a car accident. When his wife passed away he did some stupid things including having a sexual relationship with a 19 year old girl resulting in her getting pregnant. It was his wake up call and he paid the girl to abort the baby.
